Statistics



Constance has very similar stats to pStryker, but with the ARM and DEF
reversed. She's fairly accurate in melee (but with rules to make her
VERY accurate), hits fairly hard for a caster (again the same P+S as
pStryker), and can take a decent hit, though she's definitely not as
durable as all that armor and that giant shield would make you think.



Feat - Divine Intervention

For one round, friendly Faction warrior models killed in Constance's
control area give her souls. She and all Cygnar warrior models in her
CTRL gain +1ARM for each soul on her, so essentially, the more infantry
she loses, the harder it is for her to lose any more. Then, on the
following turn, she turns all those dead models into focus and
retaliates. This feat alone makes Constance favor higher-point games
where she can pack lots of infantry into her army.



Weapons



- Sun Spear - A magic weapon with reach that ignores DEF and ARM bonuses
from spells. Combined with Flank and Flashing Blade, Connie can
personall clear out a pretty impressive cluster of models all on her
own.





Special Abilities



- Animosity [Thamarite] - No Ragman for Connie.

- Flank [non-warcaster Morrowan] - Holy crap, Cygnar has a weapon master! Sort of!
This elevates Connie above her competent base stats and into a whirling
dervish of destruction. With Flank she won't need to boost to hit just
about anything (even DEF16 casters are hit on average dice), and she
gains enough power to damage even Khador heavies.

- Inspiration [Morrowan] - Your Precursors are fearless. Not a huge deal, but handy when it comes up.





Spells



- Banishing Ward - One model/unit becomes immune to enemy magic. Great for stymying Cryx and Retribution magic-heavy armies.

- Crusader's Call -A flat +2" to all charges coming out of her control
area. This turns Cygnar's moderate-to-good SPD into near-guarantees of
getting the first strike. Very, very handy, and one of Connie's key
tools.

- Flashing Blade - For a single focus, Connie threshes all enemy models
in her melee range. This spell can generate a crazy amount of Connie's
accurate, high-damage attacks. Also note that it can be used before
moving, so if Connie gets bogged down with tar pit models, she can cast
Flashing Blade to clear them out before moving or charging somewhere
else.

- Sunburst - A short range AoE with an average POW. It removes boxed
models from play and cannot damage your own dudes. Great for finishing
off a warbeast to deny its warlock fury, or for scattering blind over a
melee without worrying about hitting your own models. Not something
she'll cast every game, but a decent tool when she needs it.

- Transference - Lets Faction warrior models in Connie's control area
spend her focus to boost attack and damage. This is something you'll
want to cast on turn 1 and never drop-- Connie's infantry-heavy army
will easily consume 4 focus a turn to hit high-DEF models and crank out
extra damage.
